2020 Online Korean Speech Contest Information

 

THEME: "Things from my country I want to bring/introduce to Korea"

PRIZES: Traditional Artisan crafts from Korean National Museum

ELIGIBILITY: GIST international community members only

APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 1st (Sun), 2020 * extended

VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 1st (Sun), 2020

 

CONTEST DETAILS
(1) Register by sending your application form and script to koreancontest.lec@gmail.com.

(2) Your script and speech must be your original work not just copying and pasting into Google Translate, Papago, or other translating tools.

(3) Between October 19th and October 30th, all interested participants can receive individual guidance from Dr. Lee, Sorim.

(4) If you have any questions or need help, feel free to contact the LEC (flora7027@gist.ac.kr / T.062-715-3703).

 

VIDEO DETAILS
(1) Your speech should be between 3-5 minutes in duration.

(2) Images/PPT may be included in the video recording of your speech.

(3) Videos should be less than 10 MB. Quality of video (HD, etc.) is NOT a part of the scoring criteria.

 

SUBMISSION DETAILS

(1) Make a Google Drive link to your video and submit the link via email to koreancontest.lec@gmail.com. Due to space limitations, do not send your video as an attachment. Include your name and status at GIST (e.g. Master's student, PhD student, family member, researcher) in the body of your submission email.

(2) Deadline: 2020 November 1st (Sunday) 23:59PM (Late submissions will not be accepted.)

(3) By entering this contest, participants give LEC permission to post their work on various online platforms such as webpages for LEC, GIST, and GIST College as well as LEC's YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook page.
